Exam Tips
  • Remember to revise key words from each chapter and people in history.
  • Know section 6 - Irish and International Relations.
  • Revise key topics especially, The Revolutions, The Reformation, Explorations and The Renaissance...
  • Read the exam paper and source material carefully and underline key words.
  • Plan your answers.
  • Make sure you write 5/6 key points for the write an account answers.
  • Explain the points you make.
  • Stick to your time plan.

Junior Certificate History Mocks 2013

Good Luck to all our students doing mock exams. Remember to 
  •  Watch your timing
  •  Read all questions carefully, underlining key words
  •  Plan your answers - people in history and longer questions - write an    account  
  •  For higher Level make sure you write in sufficient detail and length,  especially in the write an account/write about topic parts of the longer  question. 10 marks = 5/6 key points - 2 detailed paragraphs.
