Artifacts from Early Irish History

The National Museum of Ireland.

The National Museum of Ireland is well worth a visit. Entry is free. The main building housing Early Irish Exhibitions is in Kildare Street, Dublin city centre(near the Dail). They run frequent free tours which are very good.

You can also explore some of the Exhibits online. Go to the link below. 360 degree images of exhibits such as The Ardagh Chailce and Ireland's Gold collection are included.

It took me a while to get used to using the mouse to view these images. When you zoom in, some images are distorted but I still think it gives you a good idea of what artifacts are in the Museum. Hopefully you will get a chance to visit and view the real artifacts!
